With the darker, cold weather making its appearance, October is a fine time to write. Too many blog ideas possess this random mind of mine however so most of them come and go without ever seeing the light of the moon. There are a few recurring themes though that keep haunting me, and I'm thinking that they will never leave me alone unless I make time to write them. Following is a list of those in no specific order. (I have this strange hang-up where I only write if some idea is burning my brain and the blog is already half written before I even get to my laptop.)
- Its or it's? What are some common grammar and writing mistakes in the blogging world? Does it even matter? Why don't more people blog anyway? I wish that all of my friends blogged, but alas, I only know of a few.
- How does alcohol really affect us? I have been researching the answers for this question for a while now, and I am finding out some very intriguing information.
- Raw milk! Does it really make people sick or have we been cheated out of one of the healthiest foods one could consume?
- How to make authentic pad thai. It's much easier than the recipes let on.
- Does God want us to enjoy life? Is it possible to listen to Metallica music, watch South Park on TV or read Urban Dictionary online and still be close to God? This is something that has confused me for years as a Christian.
- Recipe for chicken tacos that will make everyone who knows you think you are the best cook in the world.
- Why do we sometimes dread getting out of bed in the morning? What are some ways to actually look forward to tomorrow even if it isn't the weekend?
- Going to church? Do we really need to go? What are the problems people face when deciding on a church for their faith?
- More unschooling topics. Can kids actually learn anything if no one ever teaches them?
There are more topics but I should feed my kids breakfast at some point today. I'm thinking of making a scrambled mystery goulash.
